Weather Warning "Summer Thunderstorms in Upper Thailand " No. 17 Time Issued : May 13, 2020
Hot weather and very hot condition is forecast in some area as the southerly and the southeasterly winds blow in with the humidity. Thunderstorms, gusty winds and hails are possible for the North regions mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Phayao, Phrae and Nan. People in upper Thailand should beware of the severe condition by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damages.
The active low over the Andaman Sea is forecast to intensify and move to the lower Bay of Bengal.
The tropical storm “VONGFONG” over the east of the Philippines is expected to move northwestward
with no effect on Thailand.
